DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY: BIOGRAPHICAL PROJECTION
In costume we tend to be other things that we are not. Just like Mimes we tend to hide how we truly feel to others by masking ourselves. In one way or another we have all been there and acted differently around others to fit in. We go into costume & hide how and who we really are. No one truly knows how we actually feel or who we are.
Using an overhead projector, I projected the imagery onto myself, without using Photoshop to manipulate the photography. This project is autobiographical in nature. The final piece reveals something about myself--hobbies I engage in, what kind of movies, food, books, music I prefer, what I like, who I am, what I do, etc.
